This sight is a re-creation of the 1960s-vintage KENSIGHT for which our brand is named. The windage adjustment mechanism is largely carried over from the popular ELLIASON sight, with the net effect being that the sight is a 4/5th scale of the more popular fully-adjustable sights common on 1911s. Extremely suited to custom "low-melt" installations where compact size is a primary consideration.

Authentic Kensight ® Sights - The Professional's Choice

This is an authentic Kensight ® sight, and not to be confused with other brands. When it comes to durability, and features the Kensight® sights far exceed our competitors. Our sights are Wire-EDM machined from a single billet of 4140 chrome-moly steel. The result is a precision sight built with better materials and the Wire-EDM construction ensures the tightest tolerances possible. This translates to ultra-smooth adjustments, audible clicks for both windage and elevation, and consistent dovetail dimensions in which the "industry standard" CNC construction cannot compete. Backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, Kensight 1911 sights are premium quality and the first choice for factory-fit OEM manufactures, competition shooters and professional's worldwide.

Replace broken Elliason on WWII Govt Model

Posted by Robert Creighton on 27th Sep 2023

Was really worried that this might not fit, but was happy it was within .002 of my dovetail. So some minor fitting and the Old 1911 is back in business. Really grateful as good Iron sights are getting scarce. Very nice site thank you!

Perfect Match for my ramped NM Patridge front sight

Posted by Unknown on 12th Mar 2021

Bought an NOS Slide NM7791435 July 1986. Came bare except for the front sight. Shane was a great help finding the correct rear sight. Thanks so much!! This pistol is a work in progress. 1958 Sistema frame. Some lapping of the new sight base required, A good tight fit assembled with red locktite. So far so good. Now I have to work on the very heavy military spec trigger. Quick sight picture and shoots good with my 65 year old eyes. Left eye dominant, right handed, both eyes open.
