Introduction
This Warranty Policy governs warranty coverage, warranty claims, warranty service, repairs, replacements, exclusions, limitations, shipping responsibilities, inspection requirements, and related procedures for eligible products manufactured, sold, distributed, or serviced by Keng’s Firearms Specialty, Inc. (“KFS,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including products sold under the Kensight® brand and any other KFS-operated brand, division, product line, website, ecommerce platform, customer portal, commercial channel, or business line.

2. Limited Lifetime Warranty
KFS stands behind the quality of the products it manufactures.
Subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and compliance requirements in this Warranty Policy, KFS provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original retail purchaser for eligible KFS-manufactured products.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use during the lifetime of the product.
For purposes of this Warranty Policy, “Lifetime” means the reasonable service life of the original product, based on product type, design, materials, expected use, expected wear, safety considerations, product condition, availability of parts, and commercially reasonable service expectations.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable, except where prohibited by applicable law.
This warranty is a Limited Warranty. It is not a full warranty.
3. Products Covered
Unless otherwise stated in writing, this Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to eligible products manufactured by KFS, including eligible Kensight® products and other KFS-manufactured product lines.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects attributable to KFS in materials, manufacturing, workmanship, factory assembly, and factory-supplied components incorporated into the covered product.
Products manufactured by third parties may be covered by the third-party manufacturer’s warranty, if any. KFS may assist with third-party warranty communications as a courtesy, but KFS does not assume responsibility for third-party warranty obligations unless expressly stated in writing.
A product-specific written warranty, signed written agreement, or product-specific notice may provide different warranty terms. If such terms conflict with this Warranty Policy, the more specific written terms control for that product or transaction.
4. Metal Sight Body Coverage; Tritium Components
KFS warrants only the eligible metal sight bodies and other KFS-manufactured metal components covered by this Warranty Policy.
KFS does not manufacture tritium lamps, tritium vials, tritium inserts, or tritium illumination components. Tritium components are supplied and/or installed by third-party providers, which may include Trijicon®, AmeriGlo®, Night Fision®, or other tritium manufacturers, suppliers, installers, or service providers.
If a tritium-equipped sight is received with a missing, damaged, dim, or non-functional tritium lamp, and the issue is reported to KFS before installation, KFS may assist with repair, replacement, exchange, or coordination with the applicable third-party tritium provider.
After installation, tritium components and tritium installation are not warranted by KFS. Any warranty coverage for tritium components or tritium installation, if available, is provided by the applicable third-party tritium manufacturer, supplier, installer, or service provider.
Nothing in this section limits warranty coverage for the KFS-manufactured metal sight body or other KFS-manufactured metal components where a valid defect in KFS materials or workmanship exists.
5. Tritium Inspection Before Installation
Customers should inspect all tritium-equipped sights immediately upon receipt and before installation.
If a tritium lamp is missing, damaged, dim, or non-functional when received, the issue must be reported to KFS before installation. If reported before installation, KFS may assist with repair, replacement, exchange, or coordination with the applicable third-party tritium provider.
After installation, KFS does not warranty tritium components or tritium installation. Tritium components and tritium installation are warrantied, if at all, by the applicable third-party provider, such as Trijicon®, AmeriGlo®, Night Fision®, or another tritium manufacturer, supplier, installer, or service provider.
Nothing in this section limits warranty coverage for the KFS-manufactured metal sight body or other KFS-manufactured metal components where a valid defect in KFS materials or workmanship exists.
6. Exclusions
This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover any condition, damage, failure, cost, or claim caused by or related to:
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic wear, finish wear, holster wear, scratches, dings, fading, or appearance-related deterioration;
- Corrosion or rust caused by improper care, environmental exposure, chemicals, moisture, salt, solvents, neglect, storage conditions, or misuse;
- Improper installation, removal, fitting, cleaning, maintenance, storage, use, tools, torque, or handling;
- Abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, impact damage, fire, flood, severe weather, acts of God, or other force majeure events;

- Damage caused by firearm malfunction, ammunition, recoil, heat, vibration, incompatible firearms, slides, mounts, bases, plates, adapters, screws, tools, components, accessories, optics, holsters, or customer-created fitment issues;

- Commercial misuse, rental use, institutional use, agency use, training use, high-volume use, or resale use unless covered by a separate written agreement;
- Any condition not caused by a defect in materials or workmanship attributable to KFS.
This Warranty Policy does not automatically void coverage merely because a customer used non-KFS services, tools, accessories, or parts. However, damage, failure, or unsafe condition caused by improper installation, incompatible parts, unauthorized modification, negligent repair, or non-KFS work is not covered.
7. Installation, Compatibility, and Safe Use
Firearms-related products, sights, optics, parts, components, mounts, adapters, bipods, and accessories may require proper selection, fitting, installation, maintenance, and use.
Customers are responsible for confirming product compatibility, reviewing product instructions and warnings, using proper tools, using qualified personnel where appropriate, confirming safe installation, ensuring the firearm or host product is safe and suitable, complying with applicable laws, and inspecting the product before and after installation.
KFS does not warrant that any product is compatible with every firearm, slide, mount, base, adapter, screw, accessory, optic, holster, configuration, jurisdiction, user, or intended use.
KFS is not responsible for damage, loss, injury, noncompliance, or unsafe conditions caused by improper selection, installation, removal, tools, torque, handling, maintenance, modification, use, or compatibility decisions.
8. Warranty Claims, Inspection, and Evaluation
To initiate a warranty claim, customers must contact KFS through a warranty request method made available by KFS, including phone, email, website form, account portal, return form, or another authorized claim process.
KFS may require proof of purchase, order information, purchase date, purchase channel, product description, photographs, description of the claimed issue, installation status, firearm or host platform information, serial number or identifying information, return authorization, and any other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
KFS may require a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) before accepting any product for warranty evaluation. Products returned without required authorization may be refused, delayed, or returned to sender.
KFS may inspect, test, photograph, document, measure, disassemble, evaluate, or otherwise review products submitted for warranty evaluation. Warranty evaluation may include review of product condition, authenticity, purchase channel, installation status, claim history, product markings, compliance concerns, and defect causation.
Products submitted for warranty inspection may be affected by testing or disassembly where reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
Submission of a warranty request, return form, email, photograph, or product does not guarantee warranty approval. KFS may deny claims involving false, incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent, unverifiable, or inconsistent information.
Warranty registration, if offered, is not required to receive warranty coverage where warranty eligibility can be shown through other reasonable means.
Warranty service, inspection, repair, replacement, refund, store credit, or other accommodation provided by KFS does not constitute an admission of defect, fault, negligence, liability, product-wide issue, recall condition, or warranty applicability to any other product, claim, customer, transaction, or circumstance.
9. Warranty Remedies
If KFS determines that a covered defect exists, KFS may provide one or more of the following remedies:
- Repair the product;
- Repair the affected component;
- Replace the product;
- Replace the affected component;
- Provide a substantially similar or functionally equivalent replacement product;
- Provide store credit;
- Refund the original purchase price;
- Provide another commercially reasonable remedy.
If the original product is discontinued, unavailable, obsolete, restricted, no longer serviceable, or no longer supported, KFS may provide a comparable replacement, functionally equivalent substitute, replacement component, store credit, refund, or other commercially reasonable remedy.
Warranty remedies are limited to those expressly stated in this Warranty Policy, subject to applicable law.
10. Shipping, Insurance, and Service Address
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved by KFS in writing, customers are responsible for shipping products to KFS, proper packaging, insurance, tracking, documentation, loss or damage during shipment to KFS, export documentation, import documentation, customs filings, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, carrier fees, and any other charges associated with shipment to KFS.
For approved warranty claims within the United States, KFS will generally pay reasonable return shipping charges from KFS to the customer’s U.S. address.
For customers outside the United States, all international shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, import fees, export fees, regulatory fees, and other governmental or carrier charges are the responsibility of the customer unless KFS expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Customers should not ship products to KFS without following the warranty claim procedure or obtaining required authorization.
Unless KFS provides different written instructions, authorized warranty returns should be sent to:

11. Non-Warranty Repairs
If KFS determines that a product is not covered by this Warranty Policy, KFS may deny warranty coverage, return the product, offer paid repair service, offer replacement options, offer store credit where appropriate, provide an estimate for non-warranty service, or decline service where repair is unsafe, impractical, unlawful, unavailable, or commercially unreasonable.
KFS will not perform chargeable repair work without customer authorization where authorization is required.
If the customer does not authorize non-warranty repair, does not respond to communications, does not pay applicable charges, or does not provide required information, KFS may return the product, hold the product for a reasonable period, or handle the product as permitted by applicable law and KFS procedures.
12. Export, Compliance, and International Service
Warranty service is subject to all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws, regulations, restrictions, and compliance requirements, including firearms laws, export controls, reexport controls, sanctions regulations, customs laws, import laws, restricted-party rules, destination restrictions, carrier rules, and product restrictions.
KFS may refuse, delay, restrict, cancel, modify, or report warranty service where KFS determines that the product, customer, destination, transaction, shipment, end use, end user, documentation, or requested service may involve legal, compliance, safety, fraud, firearms-law, export-control, sanctions, customs, import, anti-diversion, anti-trafficking, or restricted-party concerns.
KFS is not responsible for products seized, delayed, rejected, abandoned, destroyed, taxed, restricted, or refused by customs authorities, carriers, freight forwarders, government agencies, or foreign authorities.
Customers must not ship loaded firearms, ammunition, hazardous materials, prohibited items, illegally possessed products, or any product requiring special handling unless expressly authorized by KFS in writing and permitted by law.
13. Dealer, Distributor, OEM, and Commercial Account Rules
Dealers, distributors, OEM customers, Stocking Dealers, Dealers, Retail accounts, resellers, marketplace sellers, and other commercial customers must not misrepresent KFS warranty terms, offer warranty coverage broader than this written Warranty Policy, alter KFS warranty language, promise free replacement, refund, repair, or service beyond this Warranty Policy, state that KFS will approve a claim before KFS evaluates the product, state that a product is covered after misuse, alteration, improper installation, or unauthorized modification, or use KFS warranty terms to support unauthorized resale, export, diversion, marketplace listings, or restricted transactions.
Commercial customers must direct warranty claims to KFS in accordance with this Warranty Policy unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
KFS may deny reimbursement, credit, replacement, or warranty support for unauthorized warranty promises made by dealers, distributors, resellers, marketplace sellers, or other third parties.
No dealer, distributor, reseller, marketplace seller, sales representative, employee, agent, or third party is authorized to modify, expand, waive, or supplement this Warranty Policy unless approved in a written document signed by an authorized representative of KFS.
14. Privacy, Records, and Other KFS Policies
KFS may collect, use, retain, and disclose information submitted in connection with warranty claims for warranty administration, product support, customer service, fraud prevention, compliance, shipping, returns, repair, accounting, legal, regulatory, safety, quality-control, and recordkeeping purposes.
Warranty claim information may include contact information, order information, product information, photographs, communications, shipping information, transaction information, compliance information, and other information reasonably necessary to evaluate or administer the claim.
KFS handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Warranty claims are separate from ordinary returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds. Where a product is returned for an ordinary return or exchange rather than warranty service, the Shipping and Returns Policy applies. Where a product is submitted for warranty evaluation, this Warranty Policy applies.
The KFS Terms and Conditions contain additional provisions regarding eligibility, prohibited transactions, product restrictions, order acceptance, payment, taxes, shipping, risk of loss, product use, export controls, sanctions, intellectual property, dispute resolution, limitations of liability, governing law, venue, and other terms.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits KFS’s rights under the Terms and Conditions.
15. Disclaimer of Other Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this Limited Lifetime Warranty is the only express warranty provided by KFS for covered products unless KFS expressly states otherwise in a separate written warranty or signed written agreement.
Except as expressly provided in this Warranty Policy, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, KFS disclaims all other warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, compatibility, performance, accuracy, suitability for resale, suitability for export, suitability for a specific firearm, platform, application, customer, jurisdiction, or end use, and warranties arising from course of dealing, course of performance, or usage of trade.
For consumer purchases, any implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed are limited to the shortest duration permitted by applicable law or to the duration of the applicable express limited warranty, whichever limitation is permitted by applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so some limitations may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KFS and its officers, directors, employees, agents, owners, affiliates, brands, divisions, suppliers, licensors, contractors, service providers, successors, and assigns shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, enhanced, or similar damages arising out of or related to any product, warranty claim, warranty denial, warranty service, repair, replacement, delay, shipment, installation, removal, use, misuse, resale, transfer, export, import, or handling of any product.
Excluded damages include, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, loss of goodwill, loss of use, loss of data, business interruption, replacement costs, third-party claims, gunsmithing costs, installation costs, removal costs, reinstallation costs, ammunition costs, range fees, travel expenses, downtime, customs charges, duties, brokerage fees, regulatory penalties, and consequences of unlawful use or transfer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KFS’s total liability for any warranty-related claim shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Legal Rights, Availability, and Updates
This Warranty Policy gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state, province, territory, country, or jurisdiction.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, limitations of liability, restrictions on remedies, or certain warranty exclusions. Where such laws apply, the affected limitations or exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to waive, restrict, or limit any right that cannot be waived, restricted, or limited under applicable law.
KFS may make this Warranty Policy available through its website, product pages, packaging, manuals, customer service channels, or other methods. Where required by applicable law, KFS will make warranty terms available before purchase or provide a reasonable method for obtaining warranty terms.
KFS may update this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes in products, product lines, manufacturing practices, service procedures, legal requirements, ecommerce operations, compliance obligations, warranty administration, or business operations. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
If any provision of this Warranty Policy is found invalid, unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
KFS’s failure to enforce any provision of this Warranty Policy does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of KFS.
