Limited Lifetime Warranty
We stand behind our products. All Kensight Sights are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. We guarantee our products against defects in material and construction. This limited lifetime warranty does not extend to normal signs of wear. It does not cover breakage, damage or rust due to misuse, improper maintenance, accidents, loss or theft. The warranty does not extend to damages cause by unauthorized repairs.
Any product we determine to be defective will be repaired or replaced solely at our discretion. To receive warranty repair or replacement, the owner must send the product to be evaluated by KFS Industries Warranty Services located at our Atlanta, Georgia headquarters. In addition to the provisions of this warranty, the owner may also have other rights that can vary by state. No other warranties are implied or expressed other than what is specifically stated here.
Warranty Service
All products returned to KFS Industries for a warranty claim must have prior approval of a KFS Customer Service employee in the form of a Return Material Authorization Number (RMA). The RMA must be displayed on the exterior of the return carton. Merchandise returned without an RMA will be refused. The RMA number assigned will expire 30 days from date of issue. To obtain an RMA, please call the KFS Atlanta, Georgia headquarters at (404) 691-7611.

Upon receipt of a returned product, we will verify warranty coverage. If the product is not covered by warranty, KFS Industries Inc. will send you an estimate of the cost to repair your product prior to performing any services not covered.

Both solutions
This particular pin in the Elliason rear sight have a tendency to break. I have replaced it twice on my Gold Cup in the last 46 years. I like that this kit has both solutions, the roll pin that was the original pin type, and a solid pin, which is the preferred replacement type. I had no trouble installing the pin.

Tiny but precisely engineered
Colt informed me that Kensight provides the roll pin for my Gold Cup Series 80, that was a good teamwork between the two firms. The roll pin that secures a rear sight to the slide is very small but engineered precisely and fits perfectly. I am satisfied.

Roll pin worked, solid pin didn't
The solid pin was a loose fit in my Gold Cup. It just slid right in with finger pressure alone. It would have slipped right out with just a few rounds fired. The roll pin fit better, snug if not tight. We'll see how long it lasts. This is the third time I've had to replace the sight pin so I'm not expecting this to be a permanent cure. I appreciated the customer service from Kensight. My order was handled promptly and the new pins arrived quickly. Until somebody comes up with a solution I will keep ordering pins from Kensight. Shane from Kensight: I take a small drop of Blue Loctite #243 and apply to both sides on the outside of the pin. I let it dry 24hrs and repeat. This will keep the pin from walking out so quickly.

Being Prepared Is Better Than Being Caught Short
A friend told me about Kensight. I noticed that the hinge pin on my Gold Cup tends to wander out during shooting. So far I've caught it before it slips out far enough to be a problem. So I got the pin kit, as well as the spring, since if the pin goes so will the spring, and good luck finding these tiny parts in the grass. I decided to add some other spare Elliason sight parts to the order. If it turns out I will never need them, then I'm ahead of the power curve. If I do need a part, I'll be ready. Having these parts on hand is inexpensive insurance.
