Kensight Springfield White Dot Rear, Recessed Blade W/ 0.200'' Tall White Dot CONTOURED base front

Another variation of our popular Springfield Defensive Fixed Sight, featuring two Artic white recessed dots. Wire-EDM cut from a solid block of 4140 steel, not to be confused with other sights that are metal injection-molded (MIM) or investment cast.

This Defensive Fixed Sight (DFS) has distinctive grasping serrations, large relief cut for an excellent silhouetted sight picture. This rear sight fits the popular Novak LoMount rear sight dovetail cut, often found on many factory-produced and custom 1911 pistols.

This rear sight comes paired with our standard white dot contoured front sight with a serrated blade. For this front sight, blade heights from 0.150'' to 0.220'' are available upon request. Compatible with Novak type front sight dovetail cuts (0.340" x 60° x 0.075") as typically found on both customized and factory 1911 pistols.

Novak® LoMount™ Dovetail Sight Cut

The Novak® LoMount™ dovetail is a somewhat standard dovetail sight cut found on many popular factory-fitted (OEM) and custom platforms. The Kensight® DAS™ (Defensive Adjustable Sights) and DFS™ (Defensive Fixed Sights) are the perfect low profile upgrade for your concealed carry, or combat carry pistols, due to a smooth, thoroughly "dehorned", low-profile exterior. The benefit of this feature is there are no sharp edges to cut hands or catch on clothing during the draw stroke which compliments your concealed carry or defensive style 1911. This particular sight will only fit an existing Novak® LoMount™ 1911 dovetail.
